However, we’re witnessing a fundamental shift in this strategy. Companies now focus primarily on platforms that host detailed information at multiple levels and can present actionable insights to drive decision-making.
While still evolving, artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming a game-changer in market access. Its potential to transform how we target and engage with healthcare professionals is immense. We can expect AI to play a more significant role in 2025, especially in automating data analysis and providing precise targeting insights.
Although AI might streamline many processes, the human element—direct communication with healthcare professionals—will remain essential.
One of the most significant challenges market access teams face is ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of their data. The mantra “garbage in, garbage out” holds true, and the quality of insights generated is directly tied to the quality of the data input. Frequent data updates, current supporting documentation, and a reliable process for data validation are all crucial.
